Grace United Methodist Church will be holding its 16th annual Walk/Run at Riverview Park Activities Center on Saturday, Nov. 16. The purpose of the benefit walk/run is to off-set expenses for the June 2014 medical team of 12 missioners traveling to Bolivia. They will administer physical and spiritual aid to the impoverished indigenous people there.

The 5K walk/run is on the flat, easy asphalt course of Riverview Park and on the Greeneway. Start time is 8 a.m. for the 1 mile kid’s fun run, 8:30 a.m. for the run, 8:40 for the ambulatory athletes with special needs and 8:45 for the walk. All ages and abilities are encouraged to participate.

Registration forms are available at the church office or at www.gotgraceumc.org. Fees for the walk/run are $20 on race day. Other events are $15 and the tot trot is $10.
