The adult softball wooden bat league has reached its playoffs.
Starting with games that were to have happened on Tuesday evening, the No. 1 seeded North Augusta Public Safety Department will play No. 8 Langley. Rounding out the schedule will be No. 4 Grace United Methodist against No. 5 First Baptist – Yellow; No. 3 First Baptist – Orange against No. 6 Beech Island and No. 2 Graniteville against No. 7 TrueNorth. All games will be played at the Riverview Park Activities Center, with the games starting at 6:30 p.m. and the latter two having their first pitch at 8 p.m.
The winners of those games will advance to play on Thursday at 8 p.m. The losers’ side of the bracket will play in the early games at 6:30 p.m. Play will continue Aug. 6, 8 and 13 before the final two games on the 15. The losers side will have its resolution at 6:30 and the championship will be at 8 p.m.
