Chaplain’s Corner: Spiritual healing

  • Thursday, August 8, 2013

I have participated in various anointing services over the years, but one stands out in my memory.

The minister told of a time when he sought spiritual healing during a service he led with another pastor.

He recalled the strong sense of conviction that gripped his heart as he acknowledged a broken relationship with his son.

With a repentant heart, he asked the other minister for anointing; he felt instantly healed.

“Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord” James 5:14.
