Earle and Debra Smith of North Augusta are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Mallory Kae Shell Smith to Marcus Ryan Barber of Aiken. Marcus is the son of Bert Barber of Edgefield and Robin Barber of North Augusta.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Dorothy Smith and the late Earle F. Smith Sr. of Greeneville, Tenn., and Mrs. Keasle (Honey) Shell and the late J.T. Shell of Afton, Tenn. She is a 2006 graduate of North Augusta High School. She is employed as a nurse at a local rehabilitation and health care facility.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Barber of Jamesville, N.C., and Mrs. Martha Pribble and the late Roy Pribble of Fayetteville, N.C. He is a 2003 graduate of Strom Thurmond High School. He is employed as a territorial manager at A.B. Beverage Company in Aiken.
The wedding is planned for Saturday, Nov. 2, at Sweetwater Baptist Church in North Augusta.
