ORANGEBURG (AP) — State troopers said two motorcyclists have been killed after they were struck by a drunken driver in Orangeburg County.
Authorities said 21-year-old Sean Aston was driving on U.S. Highway 21 when he crossed the center line and hit the two motorcycles. Both people on the motorcycles were killed. Their names have not been released.
Troopers said Aston was taken to the hospital and then was charged with two counts of felony driving under the influence. Authorities said a passenger in his car was not injured.
It wasn’t known if Aston had a lawyer.
