Power outages affected numerous areas in Aiken County this morning.
Bill S. Inman, vice president of Customer & Strategic Services with Aiken Electric Cooperative, said the outage was caused by a fault in the Santee-Cooper transmission line.
Inman said the outage occurred around 10:30 a.m., affecting 15,000 members.
Inman said power was fully restored by 12:30 p.m.
