Creek Speaks: Where’s the frog?

  • Thursday, October 17, 2013

Hi, my name is Timothy Hawkins, and I am in Mr. Jackson’s and Mrs. Spieker’s class at the Creek. This week there was a crime scene in Mrs. Spieker’s room. Her pet frog went missing. It was really fun, and we learned how to apply her inference lesson to the crime. We were the investigators. There were a lot of clues, and we had to use our “schema” to make an inference for what happened to the frog.

We are busy getting ready for trick-or-treat night next week. The school opens up at night for the students to trick or treat in each hallway. The fourth and fifth grades set up a haunted house. It should be really fun.
