Submitted photo Mrs. Gunn’s first grade class.

We are Mrs. Gunn’s 1st grade class at Mossy Creek Elementary School and we are telling you about what we are doing at school in October. We had a Trick or Treat Night on Oct. 17 and we got lots of candy. There was a very creepy haunted house on the fourth grade hall. Lots of children came and had fun.

Red Ribbon Week is Oct. 21-25. We are dressing up to remind us to just say ‘no’ to drugs.

There is going to be a carnival on Sunday, Oct. 27. There will be a Mega Party at the carnival that will have a bouncy house. The carnival will be fun.

On Oct. 30 we will celebrate our 50th day of school by having activities about the number 50.

We will end October with fun Halloween activities.

We are learning about informative writings. We are practicing by writing this article for the newspaper. We hope you enjoy reading our article.

We look forward to going to school each and every day because we do fun crafts and it is a nice place to be. From our classroom to your home, we hope you have a wonderful day.
