My name is Taleyah Dunbar, and I am a student at North Augusta Elementary. I’m in the fourth grade, and I’m in Mrs. Burket’s class. On meet your teacher day, I was so excited. I had my fingers crossed that she was going to be my teacher. My wish came true.
In Mrs. Burket’s class, we’ve already learned about explorers, the three reasons for exploration, qualitative and quantitative observations, main idea and details, making inferences, vocabulary, spelling, graphs, pie charts, properties of light, point of view, electricity and division and times tables.
Mrs. Burket is a sweet, loving, fun, funny and pretty teacher. She makes every lesson fun. If we had a 10 page test, Mrs. Burket would make it as fun as playing at recess. When I grow up, I want to be a teacher just like her. Mrs. Burket’s class is just like her. This is all about me, my class and my cool teacher.
