Sarah Elizabeth Given of Appling, Ga., and Samuel Peter Crawford of Appling, Ga., were united in marriage on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Grace United Methodist Church, North Augusta. The bride was given in marriage by her parents. The Reverend Doctor Joseph Lusk performed the 5:30 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Paul David Given of Lincolnton, Ga. The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Peter Irby Crawford of North Augusta.
Miss Abby Stephenson of Decatur, Ga., friend of the bride, was the maid of honor. Mrs. Betsy Tesanovich of Savannah, Ga., sister of the bride, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Amanda Day of Boulder, Colo., cousin of the bride; Mrs. Tara Harpley of Evans, Ga., friend of the bride; Mrs. Laurie Anne Proctor of North Augusta, friend of the bride; and Miss Julia Stephenson of Martinez, Ga., friend of the bride.
Dr. Peter Crawford of North Augusta, father of the groom, was the best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Greg Campbell of Smyrna, Ga., friend of the groom; Mr. David Casares of Aiken, friend of the groom; Mr. Seth Howard of North Augusta, friend of the groom; Mr. Kimbo Ledford of Edgefield, friend of the groom; and Mr. Bob Young of North Augusta, friend of the groom.
Aiden Tesanovich, nephew of the bride, was the ringbearer.
Miss Ellie Crews, Miss Anna Hendrick and Miss Allison Hendrick, nieces of the groom, were the program attendants.
Matthew Crews and Ryan Hendrick, newphews of the groom, were the acolytes.
The Rev. William Crews of Fernandina Beach, Fla., brother-in-law of the groom; Mr. Chad Harpley of Evans, Ga., friend of the groom; Mr. Kevin Hendrick of North Augusta, brother-in-law of the groom; and Mr. Aaron Tesanovich of Savannah, Ga., brother-in-law of the bride; were the ushers.
Mrs. Jane Crews and Mrs. Julie Hendrick, sisters of the groom, were the readers.
The reception was held in The River Room at St. Paul’s of Augusta.
The Bride’s Book was provided by Mrs. Mary Harris of Martinez, Ga., friend of the bride.
After an April wedding trip to The Dominican Republic, the couple will reside in Appling, Ga.
