Jennifer Allen Harlan was accorded Wofford College’s highest academic honor on May 1 when she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.
Harlan, a member of the class of 2014, is majoring in English and Spanish. She was the editor of the Bohemian, Wofford’s student yearbook, helped recruit and train the staff and oversaw all aspects of the publication. She is a member of the Alpha Psi Omega Service Fraternity, the English Honor Society, the Spanish Honor Society and the Orientation staff. She also has worked in the Department of International Programs for four years. A candidate for a Bachelor of Arts degree, Harlan plans to work with the Institute of Reading Development, and then may attend graduate school for a career in the field of publishing.
She is the daughter of Marianne Harlan of North Augusta.
