The Hammond Hill Suburban Club pool opened this past Saturday for members to enjoy the newly renovated pool and mark the beginning of summer fun. The large pool underwent a total renovation last year, and the baby pool had a major makeover this month before opening this past weekend. The pool features two vortex slides, grills, covered areas, concessions, and certified lifeguards on duty at all times. Limited memberships are still available, so donít miss out.

The Hammond Hill Swim Team is a group of swimmers from ages 5 to 18 who began swim team practices at the beginning of May. Time trials are scheduled for Thursday, May 22 at 6 p.m. All pool members are invited to attend this evening to help support the swim team. Swim meets are scheduled throughout the month of June, and swimmers learn the correct techniques for each of the four competitive swimming strokes while having fun in doing so.

Memorial Day weekend is always exciting for members, and the poolís annual Memorial Day party is planned for members and their guests on Saturday, May 24 with hot dogs and covered dishes for all. The pool will be open on Memorial Day, May 26 from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The pool is currently open for weekend swimming on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., and Sundays from 1:30 to 7:30 p.m. The pool will also be open on June 3 through 5 from 3 to 7:30 p.m. Regular pool season begins on June 6.
