The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office is looking for two people involved in an armed robbery and shooting that landed one man in the hospital Wednesday night.
Deputies arrived at the scene located on Amos Court in North Augusta at about 7 p.m. and found a man with a gunshot wound to his right thigh. He was taken to an area hospital by Aiken County EMS and is said to be in stable condition, according to a press release.
Investigators were told that the victim was approached by a black female who demanded his wallet and phone at gunpoint. She proceeded to shoot the victim and fled in an older model gold Chevrolet Tahoe that was driven by a Hispanic male, according the release.
