Anna Maria Land of Simpsonville, SC and Ryan Stacey Izard of Greenville, SC were married June 21, 2014 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenville, SC. The bride was given in marriage by Mr. David Land. The Rev. Father Jon Chalmers officiated.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Land of Seneca, SC. She is a granddaughter of Ms. Tommie Williams and the late Mr. Thomas Williams and the late Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Land.
The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Izard of Aiken, SC. He is a grandson of Ms. Lois Gniazdowski and the late Mr. Frank Gniazdowski and Ms. Jean Izard and the late Mr. Robert Izard.
Miss Jenifer Leigh Galloway of Charlotte, NC was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Camlin VanBuren Ayers of Seneca, SC, cousin of the bride; Miss Kellie Hawkins Coleman of Greenville, SC, friend of the bride; Miss Lauren Denise Dailey of Atlanta, GA, friend of the bride and Emily Logan Izard of Greenville, SC, sister of the groom.
Mr. Richard Izard of Aiken, SC was the best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Thomas Gordon Batson of Ann Arbor, MI, cousin of the groom; Mr. Casey Richard Izard of Aiken, brother of the groom; Mr. Roger David Land II of Seneca, SC, brother of the bride; and Mr. William Greyson Land of Seneca, SC, brother of the bride.
Following a reception at Westin Poinsett of Greenville, SC, the couple left for a wedding trip to Antigua.
They will reside in Simpsonville, SC.
The bride is a 2009 graduate of Seneca High School. She is a graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She is employed by Fountain Inn Elementary School.
The bridegroom is a 2007 graduate of Aiken High School. He is a graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Computer Engineering. He is employed by Clemson University pursuing a doctorate in computer engineering.
