Aiken businesswoman Delores “Dee” Crawford has been elected vice chairman of the South Carolina Arts Commission Board of Commissioners. Crawford is president of a McDonald’s organization that includes seven restaurants with more than 400 employees.
She serves on the advisory boards for GRU-Augusta State University School of Business, USC Aiken School of Business, SCANA, the USC Aiken Inclusion Advisory Council and the Center for African American History, Art and Culture of Aiken County.
She is an adviser to the executive committee of the Augusta Chapter of Ronald McDonald House Charities and to the board of directors of Juilliard in Aiken Music Festival.
She is also a Fellow of the Riley Diversity Leadership Institute at Furman University. Crawford was appointed to the Arts Commission Board of Commissioners in 2010.
