The Aiken County Animal Shelter hosted Pooches and Popsicles on Saturday – an event that kicked off the new direction that the shelter is taking. The shelter will now be offering residents an opportunity to hold birthday parties for children, adults and pets as well as other related events. Residents can pick from one of two packages depending on how much they want the shelter to provide. Fees are $75 for Package A and $175 for Package B. All proceeds are donated to FOTAS.
