An Aiken woman said a man was looking at her through a window of her home late Wednesday, according to the Aiken Department of Public Safety.
The incident was reported at about 11 p.m. Wednesday at a home on Berkeley Street, according to an incident report.
The 21-year-old victim told police she was in the bathroom of her home when she saw a man looking through the window at her.
The woman yelled for her boyfriend, who went outside to confront the suspect, police said. The suspect took off running through neighboring yards, the report said.
The suspect was described as a black male with shoulder-length braids and wearing a dark shirt, dark pants and carrying a dark backpack.
