GREENVILLE — The Augusta GreenJackets (54-60) scored three runs in the ninth inning, but it wasn’t enough in a 5-3 loss to the Greenville Drive (48-67) on Wednesday.
Luis Ysla (6-6) took the loss, surrendering three runs in five innings while recording seven strikeouts. Jamie Callahan (3-10) pitched six scoreless innings for the win, while Jason Garcia pitched the last three innings to pick up his first save of the year despite giving up all three Augusta runs.
Ty Ross started the rally with a one-out single and later scored on a wild pitch, and Cristian Paulino drove in the other two Augusta runs with a double.
