The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Maloy and the late Mr. Michael Putman of Jamestown, N.Y. She is a granddaughter of Mrs. Kenneth Bergman and the late Mr. Bergman and Mrs. L. Abbey and the late Mr. Leriod Abbey.
The bridegroom is a son of Mrs. G.N. Shirley and the late Mr. G.N. Shirley of Aiken, SC. He is a grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Furman E. Cullum and the late Mr. and Mrs. R.N. Shirley.
Bridesmaids were Miss Elizabeth Callaway of Clemmons, NC, and Miss Emily Callaway of Clemmons, NC, nieces of the groom.
Following a reception at Dreams La Romana, the couple left for a wedding trip to La Romana, Dominican Republic.
They will reside in Charleston, SC.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of Panama Central High School. She is a graduate of Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine with a degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. She is self-employed.
The bridegroom is a 1992 graduate of Aiken High School. He is a graduate of the College of Charleston with a Bachelor of Science degree in business and a Bachelor of Arts degree in music. He is employed by New South Mortgage.
