According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:
A burglary was reported on Saturday at a home on Chime Bell Church Road in Aiken.
A 43-year-old Jackson woman reported on Saturday that a 29-year-old Aiken man assaulted her at a business on Willston Road in Aiken. The victim said the man struck her on the left side of her face with his closed right hand when she asked him for the money that he owed her. When she went inside the business, the subject followed her. She said he hit her on the right side of her face with his right fist and then left the scene. According to the responding officer, a surveillance video showed the subject striking the victim.
A 41-year-old North Augusta man was arrested for disorderly conduct on Sunday on Gardenia Court near Jonquil Lane. The responding officer saw the subject walking down the road threatening people in yards and said the man eventually attracted a large crowd because he was loud and boisterous. The subject also smelled strongly of alcohol.
A Warrenville woman reported on Saturday that someone stole figs from her fig tree that is the yard of her home on Piney Heights Road.
