CONWAY (AP) — Horry County police are searching for three men wanted in a holdup at a convenience store in which the clerk was shot and wounded.
Authorities tell local media outlets the shooting happened just before dawn Sunday at a store not far from Coastal Carolina University.
Authorities said the wounded man had surgery at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach. His condition was not immediately available.
Police said the clerk had been complying with the bandits’ demands when he was shot.
