A New Ellenton man threatened to “shoot up” the Beech Island McDonald’s on Thursday.
The threats were made by the man who said he’d shoot up the place if a specific employee was not fired soon, according to an Aiken County Sheriff’s report.
The complainant told investigators that the suspect’s home had apparently been involved in several shooting incidents, and the suspect blamed this employee because she dated the individual who allegedly committed the act.
The complainant said the suspect came to the restaurant that morning and verbalized the threats to another one of her employees.
Deputies tried to contact the suspect but were not successful.
