Napier home, North Augusta Tour of Homes

The home of Joshua and Brittany Napier, located in The Rapids, will be one of the stops of the North Augusta Christmas Tour of Homes.

The 32nd annual North Augusta Christmas Tour of Homes sponsored by Beta Sigma Phi Sorority will be celebrated Dec. 6 and 7. The tour begins with a candlelight tour on Friday evening from 5:30 until 9:30 p.m. and continues Saturday with tour homes open from 11:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

Located in The Rapids is the home of Joshua and Brittany Napier. Eager to build a home in the heart of North Augusta, natives Josh and Brittany Napier set out to find just the right builder to make their dreams a reality. They turned to Brian and Beth Carter, owners of BEC Custom Homes, a Southern Living builder in Columbia County since 2001. At the same time, the Carters were eager to bring their business to North Augusta. They all collaborated on this modern open-floor plan and decided to settle in The Rapids. The home features traditional design mixed with trendy touches. As you approach the front entrance, the flickering gas lantern and the 8-foot doors provide a warm welcome. Once inside the foyer of this 4-bedroom and 3½-bath home, you are immediately drawn to the beautiful, custom hardwood flooring design. The Napier home also features a spacious kitchen perfect for entertaining and a cozy Southern back porch as well as 10-foot ceilings, heavy crown moldings and plantation shutters throughout. The Napiers are excited about their first Christmas in their new home and are thrilled to share their home with you!

Along with the home in The Rapids, the home of Peter and Dana Lands on West Arlington Heights will be showcased. The tour will also feature the homes of Zane and Argentina Christopher in Hammond's Ferry, Jimmy and Evangeline Drew in Savannah Barony, Barry and Kim Hardy in Woodstone, and Donald and Robyn Hughes in Pecan Grove. In addition to the six homes, Tour of Homes guests are invited to peruse the Arts and Heritage Center’s galleries and gift shop while enjoying refreshments and holiday music.

A brunch and fashion show will be held in the Fellowship Hall of First Baptist of North Augusta at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 7. Fashions for ladies will be provided by Chico’s of Augusta Mall, and children’s fashions, modeled by children from local elementary schools, will be from Posh Tots in Surrey Center.
