Fans of North Augusta High School football will have the option again this season of using the radio to keep up with the Yellow Jackets.
Jason Lynn will continue in his role as the play-by-play man, and his supporting staff will vary but includes such company as Rick Meyer and Tony Harrell.
WGAC is one of the CSRA's most popular stations and has one of the farthest-reaching signals. It is now at 580 AM, 95.1 FM and 101.9 FM, and programming can also be heard live at www.wgac.com.
The season's first game (and broadcast) were set for Friday in Thomson, but a thunderstorm forced the game's postponement to Monday.
The Jackets' first home contest of the season is to be Friday versus Evans. Game time is 7:30 p.m., as it is set to be for rest of the season.
The rest of the month's schedule for the Jackets is a Sept. 6 date at Grovetown, (Georgia); Sept. 13 at home versus Blythewood; and Sept. 27 at home versus Strom Thurmond.
The Jackets are to be at Brookland-Cayce Oct. 4; at home Oct. 11 against Airport; at home Oct. 18 versus South Aiken; and at Midland Valley Oct. 25. Wrapping up the regular season, the Jackets are to play Nov. 1 at Aiken.
