Construction on the Riverside Village Amphitheater is in progress and a reminder to all of our Greeneway users that the section of the Greeneway below SRP Park is closed and will remain closed until the project is completed. The area is fenced off and it is very important that our users understand that an alternate route is needed as there is no real detour other than taking the sidewalk up to Esplanade Avenue and over to Center Street if you are walking from Hammond's Ferry or taking Center Street to Esplanade Avenue if you are walking towards Hammond's Ferry.

It’s time to ramp up the fall celebration in North Augusta as we prepare for the 35th annual Jack-O-Lantern Jubilee Festival on downtown Georgia Avenue Friday, Oct. 25 and Saturday, Oct. 26. We currently have 24 food vendors and over 100 craft vendors registered. Once again Palmetto Amusement out of Lexington, South Carolina, will have a great lineup of carnival rides and inflatables for kids of all ages to enjoy. First Baptist Church of North Augusta is joining in the fun again this year by providing carnival games and live entertainment from local musicians.

Lookaway Hall of North Augusta is sponsoring our 2nd stage located in the Your Pie parking lot. Lookaway Hall manager John Felak will be the Master of Ceremonies for stage 2. Stage 2 productions include the RECing Crew, North Augusta School of Dance, Costume Contest, Tip, Toes, & Taps, the Hoyt Clagwells and the First Baptist Church Praise band. We encourage you to visit the festival web site at www.jackolanternjubilee.com for all the pertinent information you need to know.
