Mount Vintage, a massive, upscale development in the North Augusta portion of Edgefield County, was the focal point for dozens of afternoon visitors July 24, playing host to a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a model home on Revolutionary Way, a few yards from the golf course. The house is by Essex Homes (on acreage bought from developer Wayne Raiford), and called on the talents of builder Karl Haslinger, a former Aiken resident and Savannah River Site employee. Meybohm Real Estate is in charge of the project, with plans in place for more Mount Vintage growth in the months ahead.
