A North Augusta man has been arrested and charged with harassing a juvenile victim over social media, according to reports from the North Augusta Department of Public Safety.
Brandon Busbee, 31, was charged with harassment after someone reported to authorities that Busbee had been repeatedly harassing her daughter.
The complainant told police the harassment began over Snapchat and Instagram accounts and that Busbee made comments that were "sexual in nature" toward her juvenile daughter, according to incident reports.
Busbee allegedly told the victim he knew where she lived and what she was doing while he was harassing her, and also threatened the victim when she told him to stop.
According to reports, the victim informed Busbee of her age, but he continued to contact her. She told police he would make new accounts and continue his inappropriate comments when she blocked him on social media.
Busbee was booked to the Aiken County detention center following his arrest.
