The Augusta Choral Society will perform Handel's "Messiah" at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 19, at the Sacred Heart Cultural Center, 1301 Greene St. Coraine Tate, soprano; Kristen Kasarjian, mezzo soprano; George Kasarjian, tenor; Ramelle Brooks, bass; and the Lyra Vivace Chamber Orchestra will perform. Dr. J. Porter Stokes is the artistic director and conductor. Tickets are $35 for adults, $30 for seniors age 60 and older and $15 for students and military. Victory Baptist Church and the North Augusta Optimist Club will hold an Easter Community Celebration on Saturday, April 20 from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Lions Field in North Augusta. There will be inflatables, face painting, games and prizes, and an Easter Egg Hunt which starts at 10:30 a.m. along with a free lunch and music provided by Victory Baptist Choir. community-wide Easter Egg Hunt will be held on April 20 at noon at Harrison-Caver Park, 4181 Augusta Road, Clearwater, for children 12 and younger. There will be free limited treat bags, games, free limited Easter baskets, a cake walk and free refreshments. Bring your own bag/basket. The event is sponsored by Serenity Charity Club, Horsecreek Valley Masonic District and the Aiken County PRT.

TrueNorth Church will hold their Easter service this year at SRP Park in North Augusta, SC on April 21 at 10:30 a.m. The address of the venue is 187 Railroad Ave, North Augusta, SC 29841. Everyone is invited and children of all ages are welcome to attend the service. Gates open at 9:00am.
