The GreenJackets will have a fireworks show at SRP Park on Thursday.

Fireworks are coming to Riverside Village in North Augusta on July 4.

Thursday night's Augusta GreenJackets game at SRP Park will feature a fireworks show and a concert from country music artist Cody Webb.

North Augusta City Council member Pat Carpenter said it was going to be the "biggest fireworks show they've ever had."

As of Tuesday afternoon, the team was still selling tickets for the E-Z-Go Picnic Patio, which are $30, as well as general admission/standing-room-only tickets for $9. Thursday's game begins at 6:35 p.m.

Carpenter said she was planning to be at the fireworks show and called it a "new exciting time for North Augusta fireworks."

"This is going to be something really great that North Augusta's got their own thing," she said.

The Crowne Plaza Hotel in North Augusta will also be celebrating America's independence at their Fourth of July rooftop celebration. Tickets are $50 per person for the event, which lasts from 6 p.m. until midnight. Guests will enjoy complimentary hors d'oeuvres, and drinks will be available for purchase. Tickets are available on eventbrite.com.
