The Belvedere Fire District Commissioners will hold a regularly scheduled meeting April 18 at 6:30 p.m. at the Belvedere Fire Department located at 204 Hampton Avenue. The meeting is open to the public.

Friends of the Greeneway will hold a bluebird trail behind the scenes tour on May 11 at 11 a.m. The tour will begin in Boeckh Park in Hammond's Ferry. Email adsliedickerson@gmail.com or reply to their Facebook event page to reserve your space.

Student artwork will be on display May 16 through June 2 at the North Augusta Arts and Heritage Center. The center, housed in the North Augusta Municipal Center at 100 Georgia Avenue, is open the first Sunday of each month. The art show, sponsored by the North Augusta Cultural Arts Council, will kick off with a free reception May 20 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The public is invited. Elementary, middle and high school awards, as well as Best in Show, will be presented at the 6 p.m. awards ceremony. For more information, visit naartscouncil.com.

The Edgefield Preservation Association is hosting "A Day with the Gang" on May 18 from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. The event will assist in the restoration and preservation of the building and cemetery, and they are asking anyone who has recollections, photographs and/or artifacts from the old Chain Gang Building in Edgefield. If anyone has any information about the old Chain Gang Building, contact Tanya at 803-637-4010.

Parents of Addicted Loved Ones will meet Thursday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Holy Trinity Church, 1002 Carolina Avenue, in North Augusta. PAL is a faith-based group open to anyone who has a loved one with addictions.
