The Savannah River Ecology Lab will give a program on local wildlife for rising 5K to fifth graders at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 26, at the Nancy Carson Library, 135 Edgefield Ave., North Augusta. For more information, visit abbe-lib.org.

APS Staffing Solutions will be hosting a career fair to assist new graduates and other community residents with finding employment on June 27 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at their location next to Honda Cars of Aiken. There will be on-site interviews for Machine Operators, Welders and General Laborers. There will also be a series of educational seminars available to participants such as: a resume workshop, benefits workshop, social media, soft skills, home ownership, mock interviews and financial planning. There will also be giveaways.

Share the Color with Subway activity will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 27, at the Nancy Carson Library, 135 Edgefield Ave., North Augusta. The Aiken County Republican Party meets the second Thursday of each month at the Aiken County Historical Museum-Banksia, 433 Newberry Street, SW in Aiken. A social begins at 6:30 p.m. while the Party Executive Committee conducts a business meeting separately. At 7 p.m. the Monthly Party meeting is held including formal speakers.
